He loved animals, and he always had a good horse and a good dog. He enjoyed ‘shootin pool’ at his four favorite “offices” in town. It was an honor for Chuck to let everyone know that “The Cowboy Way” was the way that he lived his life!
Chuck is survived by his wife Karren (together 30 years); kids, Curtis “Jake” (Jeano), Cindy (Gary Larson), Sue Phillips (Steve), Amy Ondrak (Duane Kage) and Tracy Izer; stepchildren, Troy Call, Kelly Forehand (Larry), and Patrick Pfeil; sister-in-law, Karen Jacobson; nieces and nephews; cousin, Jim Jacobson; grandkids; great grandkids; step grandkids; and step great grandkids. A four-legged best furry friend black lab, “Punch”.
Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brothers, Miles, Marlin and Roger Jacobson; and stepdaughter, Cinda Call.
A casual open house to celebrate Chucks life with family present, will be on Saturday, 2-29-2020, from 1-3pm, at Lincoln Family Funeral Care 5844 Fremont Street, Lincoln, Ne.
After the open house, at “Pops” request, his Celebration of Life will continue at four of his favorite “offices” where he came to know and love so many. He cherished the friendships and appreciated every one of you! We will plan to have “Pops” ashes at the Tack Room 3:30-4:30, then Top Hat until 5:30, Down The Hatch till 6:30, then, like pops would say, “moving this party closer to home” the last stop will be Huskerville by 7 PM. Hope to see many of you along the way at your usual “office” to help us celebrate the final tribute to our Pops “THE COWBOY WAY”
