Cloey was a quiet and humble Christian and she chose Saint Martin De Porres as the Patron Saint for herself and her family. Cloey believed in active Christianity and often said, "If you have to tell people that you're a Christian, you ain't doing it right. People should see it in your smile and feel it through your kindness and compassion." She was friendly and never met a stranger; she always had a kind word and willing smile for those that needed it. Despite having limited means, she gave freely and generously to others. Her personal motto was, "Be brave and kind."

Cloey will forever be remembered and is sadly missed. Her memorial service and burial will be held on April 22, 2021. There will be a luncheon in her honor following the service.
