Staci was born on June 4th, 1988, fighting for her life for the first 5 months. She was always a happy child and very inquisitive. And from the time she was small she really loved her "real food" as she called it (not desserts). That love for food followed her into adulthood... If we ever needed to get on her good side, we knew we could offer her food. She loved decorating her home, and she loved cats-- even the hard-to-love cats like hers. She liked spending time with friends and texting them to keep in contact throughout the day. She also loved jokes, and she and her sister enjoyed scaring people on many occasions.
Staci loved spending time with family, especially her twin sister. They had a bond like no other. She was a very caring, compassionate person and loved helping others whenever she could. She wanted to do whatever she could to make a friend or family member feel happy.
She worked in daycare for a lot of years and was really good with the kids. They all loved her. She worked tirelessly to be sure each child was well-cared for, and each one of them knew that she loved them.
Staci is survived by son, Sebastian Kerkemeyer; daughter, Kinleigh Kerkemeyer; Parents James & Christi Slechta; twin sister Briana Slechta; sister Shawna Slechta; brother, Austin Slechta; brother Anthony (Begaim) Miller; Mother-in-law Katherine Kerkemeyer.
